Tonight is the night, the 88th Academy Awards! The Oscars, which has been the talk of the entertainment town since the nominations revealed not one African-American actor was amongst the nominees. The Academy has 6,000 voters. Actors, as well as everyday people have expressed their thoughts on the lack of color nods; many have been open about not attending or watching the awards show.

I’m writing this blog while watching ELive Academy awards and the red carpet interviews. I must admit initially, I thought not to watch but after all the buzz and my curiosity about what will @Chris Rock say, has gotten the best of me.

So far, the red carpet has welcomed droves of fabulous gowns and tuxes; the colors are vibrant and the energy positive and upbeat. If you’re watching the pre shows and the red carpet reveals; it will be difficult not to watch The Oscars.
